Samantha moved from Southern California to Germany a little over 5 years ago. Through her travels and experiences living in different countries and cultures, she has enjoyed learning different herbal traditions and folk remedies from different parts of the world.
DIY Herbal Vinegars: Crafting 3 Vinegars
A Multivitamin, Cleansing Vinegar and an Italian Dinner Vinegar
This session will start with Samantha Lee’s signature tea meditation. Once we are all grounded, we will jump into a brief overview of what herbal vinegars are and how they can be beneficial. After our vinegar introduction, we will go through 3 different vinegar recipes and their benefits.
The first vinegar we will go over is Better than a Multivitamin Vinegar. This vinegar, as indicated by the name, is full of vitamins, minerals, and other beneficial constituents that help our bodies function at its best! It is so often that we are deficient in necessary nutrients. Better than a Multivitamin Vinegar is a great way to remedy this without taking supplements! This herbal vinegar can give us more energy, help our hair and skin shine, put us in a better mood, and so much more.
The second vinegar we will be talking about is Cleanse Yourself Vinegar. Cleanse yourself vinegar is full of herbs that help cleanse our blood, lymph, liver, kidneys, and more. It supports the body in removal of waste and getting things flowing. Perfect for detox and cleansing our bodies.
The third vinegar we will be talking about is Italian Dinner Vinegar. This vinegar is a culinary vinegar rather than a medicinal vinegar. It is a delicious treat to take your meals up a notch and to give as a gift. It is a great herbal vinegar to start with because the herbs used are widely available at most supermarkets.
Added bonus: most of the herbs we will be talking about are growing right now! You can either wildcraft for these herbs yourself, or if wildcrafting is not your jam, you can always buy these herbs from trusted suppliers.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
All you need is a cup of tea, a pen, paper, and yourself!. An ingredients list will be sent to all participants ahead of the offering, for those wanting to prepare alongside Samantha and to keep to continue on this journey.
We will be talking about 3 vinegar recipes and benefits. I recommend choosing one recipe and getting the ingredients needed for only that one herbal vinegar. A good starter recipe is the Italian Dinner Vinegar because most of these herbs are very accessible and safe for everyone. After the session you can then go out and get ingredients to make the other herbal vinegars if they resonate with you.
What if you don’t have all the herbs for a particular recipe? No stress! Use what you have or are able to get. Don’t like the taste of a particular ingredient? Omit it! Choose the herbs and vinegar based on the recipe you decide to make during the session.

SESSION PHILOSOPHY
To truly nourish our health and wellness we need to take a holistic approach. This includes the food we eat, our daily movement, our stress levels, and our quality of sleep. As a herbalist I feel somewhat inclined to add some herbs sprinkled on top of this. I believe the closer we work with nature, the more it nourishes our souls. I love working with herbs I buy from trusted suppliers, but going out into nature and foraging for these plants takes this experience to a new level. I want to share this experience with you. Come to this session with your favourite cup of tea and to get excited to learn how to connect and work with plants and nature.
